Agrianita together with the Department of Natural Resources Economy and Environment (ESL), Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) IPB University recently held a Souvenir Making Training from Ecobrick. The training was attended by women from RW 10, Kebon Kopi Village, Cibanteng Village, Bogor Regency.
"Residents learn to make key chains from household waste so that the waste can become eco brick-based economic value," said Dr Meti Ekayani, Secretary of the ESL Department. According to the Head of the Productive Business Unit and Economic Empowerment of Agrianita IPB University, the programs that will be carried out are programs related to economic development, a clean environment by making ecoenzymes, and clean rivers.
"In addition, there is also an urban farming program which is an advanced form of the Holistic Village Development and Empowerment Program (PHP2D), namely the Village Empowerment Development Program (P3D) so that it is expected to produce superior village products," she added.
This training presented Denok from Agrianita IPB University as a resource person. She teaches the making of key chain souvenirs from patchwork. Starting from how to make patterns to how to sew and fill shapes with clean plastic waste. These souvenirs can certainly be used as a business and increase income. (Ang/Zul) (IAAS/SYA)
