Sustainable and Holistic Agriculture Resources Environmental Studies (SHAREs)
SHAREs is an Academic Business Unit (ABU) established under the Rector’s Decree No. 323 of 2023 concerning the Establishment of the Sustainable and Holistic Agriculture Resources Environmental Studies Academic Business Unit.
As a specialized unit, SHAREs provides high-level consultancy and advisory services in the fields of agricultural economics, natural resources, and environmental management. Our mission is to provide strategic solutions that address the complexities of a rapidly evolving and dynamic global environment.
Location
The SHAREs Academic Business Unit is headquartered within the Department of Resource and Environmental Economics (ESL), Faculty of Economics and Management, at the IPB University Dramaga Campus, Bogor.

Recent Activities
Social Mapping & Focus Group Discussions (FGD) As part of our commitment to evidence-based policy and community development, SHAREs recently conducted a Social Mapping Activity in North Kalimantan. This project utilized Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) to identify key socio-economic drivers and environmental challenges in the region, ensuring that development strategies are both inclusive and sustainable.
