Educational Objectives:

The Doctoral Program is dedicated to cultivating scholars and practitioners capable of:

  1. Demonstrating profound mastery of economic and development theories to expand the boundaries of the discipline.
  2. Addressing complex challenges within agricultural economics and national development through innovative, evidence-based solutions.
  3. Contributing to the global academic discourse through high-impact research, peer-reviewed publications, and presentations at prestigious national and international forums.
  4. Exercising full independence in leading research initiatives, academic instruction, strategic planning, and policy formulation within high-level governmental and private organizations.

Graduate Competencies:

Graduates of the Doctoral program are expected to embody the highest level of expertise in Agricultural Economics, with specialized mastery in one of the following concentrations:

  1. Agricultural Finance and Agribusiness Economics
  2. Agricultural Marketing and International Trade
  3. Agricultural Development and Policy Analysis

Upon completion, doctoral candidates must demonstrate sophisticated analytical capabilities, enabling them to synthesize complex data and formulate transformative policies that drive the agricultural sector forward.
