Bogor, August 19, 2026 — Proud news comes from the Department of Resource and Environmental Economics (ESL), Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM), IPB University. Deasy Febriyanti Wanasurya has been awarded the title of Best Graduate at IPB University, an achievement that brings great pride to the entire ESL Department, FEM IPB University.

This accomplishment was earned through her scientific work titled “The Impact of Energy Transition on Indonesia’s CO₂ Emissions: Autoregressive Distributed Lag and System Dynamics Modeling.” The thesis addresses a strategic issue regarding energy transition and its impact on carbon emissions in Indonesia, while also demonstrating the contribution of resource and environmental economics studies in supporting sustainable development.

In completing her thesis, Deasy was supervised by Dr. Adi Hadianto, SP, M.Si as her first supervisor and Osmaleli, SE, M.Si as her second supervisor. This process played an important role in developing Deasy’s academic, analytical, and research skills, enabling her to produce high-quality scholarly work.

Deasy’s achievement is a testament that ESL students not only possess strong academic competence but are also capable of producing ideas and research relevant to national development challenges.
