ESL Department of FEM IPB University Holds Graduation Appreciation Event and Promotes Tracer Study
Bogor, 20 May 2025 – The Department of Resource and Environmental Economics (ESL), Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM), IPB University held a graduation appreciation event on Tuesday (20/5). This event was organized as a token of recognition for the achievements of graduates and to strengthen the connection between alumni and the department.
In a warm and joyful atmosphere, lecturers and administrative staff conveyed their congratulations directly to the graduates. The event also served as an opportunity to share important information related to alumni contributions toward the development of the institution.
One of the key sessions during the event was a presentation by ESL Department lecturer, Mr. Bahroin Indris, who emphasized the importance of alumni participation in completing the Tracer Study. He explained that the tracer study is part of the university’s effort to evaluate and improve its curriculum based on real-world labor market data.
“Tracer study data is essential to assess the relevance of higher education to job market demands and to support study program accreditation. Therefore, we highly encourage all alumni to take part,” said Mr. Bahroin in his presentation.
The ESL Department encourages all alumni to allocate time to complete the tracer study via IPB University’s official system. Active participation from alumni is a valuable contribution to the continuous improvement of higher education quality.
The event concluded with a group photo session and informal gathering, fostering a sense of togetherness and appreciation for the academic journey of the graduates.
