Passing the PHP2D National Judging Visitation, REESA Students of the ESL Department of IPB University Discuss Program Sustainability
After the implementation of the Holistic Village Development and Empowerment Program (PHP2D) since July 2021, a team representative from the Department of Economics, Resources and Environment (ESL) of the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) IPB University explained the results of the program that had been carried out, (5/12). On this occasion, the ESL IPB University academic community and the Cibanteng Village community discussed the sustainability of the program in Kebon Kopi Village.
“When we have meetings in other areas, we bring coffee products produced by Cibanteng Village as a form of product marketing. Hopefully this PHP2D will succeed in becoming the champion in the 2021 Abdidaya,” said Dr. Ahyar Ismail, Head of the ESL Department of IPB University.
Head of Cibanteng Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), Muklis said that his party strongly supports the sustainability of this program. The program in question includes the processing of organic and inorganic waste.
“For the direction of product commercialization, the community is very ready to support production and BUMDES is ready to provide supporting funds. I hope IPB can help in marketing the product,” said Muklis.
Several other residents also attended and gave their opinions and input for the sustainability of the program. One of them was delivered by Abidin, who suggested looking for public interest in more detail so that the results were maximized.
“The program carried out by IPB University is based on data. When we are going to collaborate with partners, we need to provide related data that can convince partners that this program will continue,” said Dr. Meti Ekayani, Secretary of the ESL Department of IPB University.
She also said that the main key to the service program is collaboration, synergy, and participation so that the program is sustainable and beneficial for all parties. (Aur/) (IAAS/FJN)
