Resource and Environmental Economics Undergraduate Program at IPB University Achieves International AQAS Accreditation
The Undergraduate Program in Resource and Environmental Economics (REE), Department of Resource and Environmental Economics, Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM), IPB University, has successfully earned international accreditation from the Agency for Quality Assurance through Accreditation of Study Programmes (AQAS), Germany. The accreditation decision was issued by the AQAS Standing Commission on 18 May 2026 and is valid until 30 June 2032. This achievement confirms that the programme substantially complies with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) and fulfills the AQAS criteria for programme accreditation.
Receiving AQAS international accreditation represents a significant milestone in the programme’s continuous commitment to academic excellence and international quality standards. The accreditation process comprehensively evaluated the programme’s curriculum, teaching and learning, research, governance, student support services, and quality assurance system. This recognition further strengthens the programme’s international reputation and reinforces its commitment to preparing graduates with global competencies in the fields of resource and environmental economics.
