Wednesday Forum, OBE Curriculum Completion, and Iftar Gathering Strengthen the Sense of Community at the ESL Department, FEM IPB

The Department of Environmental and Natural Resources Economics (ESL), Faculty of Economics and Management, IPB University held a series of activities consisting of the Wednesday Forum (Rabuan), the completion of the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum, and a communal Iftar on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. The event took place at the Mawar Room, ESL Department, IPB Dramaga Campus, and was attended by lecturers and members of the academic community of the ESL Department.

The activities began with the Wednesday Forum held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This regular agenda serves as an academic discussion forum for lecturers to discuss various developments related to the university’s tridharma activities, including education, research, and community service within the ESL Department.

In the afternoon, the activity continued with the completion of the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This activity aimed to strengthen the implementation of a curriculum based on learning outcomes that align with higher education standards and the needs of the professional world. Through the process of completing and refining the curriculum, it is expected that the study programs within the ESL Department will continue to improve the quality of learning and the relevance of graduates’ competencies.

The series of activities concluded with a communal Iftar at 5:30 p.m. This moment served as an opportunity to strengthen friendship and togetherness among the entire academic community of the ESL Department during the blessed month of Ramadan.

This activity is expected to further strengthen synergy among lecturers while enhancing the quality of academic management within the ESL Department, FEM IPB University, enabling the department to continuously produce excellent and competitive graduates.
