Departemen ESL Sosialisasi Daur Ulang Sampah di Desa Pasarean Kecamatan Pamijahan
ESL FEM - As a form of community service, the Department of ESL (Resource Economics and Environment), Faculty of Economics and Management of IPB University in collaboration with PT. SMI (PT. Sarana Mitra Infrastruktur) provides themed training on the environment in Pasarean village, Kec. Pamijahan Regency. Bogor on Saturday (29/02) yesterday.
The training, which was opened by the Chairperson of the ESL Department Dr.Ir.Ahyar Ismail, M.Agr, was attended by mothers, fathers to teenagers around the village who were interested not only in making waste as a business sector, but also as environmentalists.
In this training, preliminary materials were given about Institutional waste banks, this material was delivered by the Secretary of the Department of ESL IPB, Dr. Meti Ekayani, S.Hut, M.Sc.
According to Dr. Meti, the material was given as an overview to the public to see the enthusiasm of the local residents to strengthen their waste banks. For more information, Dr. Meti, Pasarean Village is an ESL Department Partner village.
In this village a garbage bank called Srikandi Berdikari was formed, which was formed by the ESL department together with the mothers in the village environment, he said.
Besides delivering the material, said Dr. Meti, here also held a training on the utilization of plastic waste, such as a plastic bag into handicrafts by bringing in a trainer from Kertabumi Garbage Clinic, Bintaro, South Tangerang City.
Dr. Meti added, mothers were trained to make handicrafts using tools and materials available at home, namely plastic bags and electric irons. Some handicrafts produced in this training include shopping bags, cosmetic pouches and cellphone bags.
